Debra (Long) Etheridge

Debra Long Etheridge 66, of  Whiteville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at her home.  She was born February 14, 1956 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Nolon Flowers Long and Evelyn Inez Nobles Long. 

She was formerly employed with Columbus Regional Healthcare, Columbus County Health Department and Medi Home Care.  She was more recently the apartment manager of  Tabor Villa in Tabor City.

She is survived by her husband, Leland Audie Etheridge; a son,  Jason Etheridge of Whiteville; a daughter, Audrey Renee Price and husband, Marty of Whiteville; grandchildren, Jacob Etheridge, Isaac Etheridge, Dylan Price, Mason Price and Victoria Price; great grandson, Tyler Wayne Etheridge; a brother, Nathan Long of Whiteville; a sister, Brenda Hilbourn of Cerro Gordo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Evelyn Ward, Velma Spruill and Doris Strickland.  

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jackie Strickland and Rev. Henry Ward officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service Tuesday at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church.
