She is survived by her husband John R. Desanty, Sr. of Lake Waccamaw, N.C.; son, Johnny Desanty of Savoy, M.A.; daughter, Jackie Combes and husband Matt of M.O.; brothers, Ron Szpila and wife Annette of M.A., Steven Szpila of M.A.; sisters, Jeanne Millette and husband Richard of F.L., Cynthia Daunais/Lawrence of M.A.; grandchildren, Jesse Desanty, Jacob Kelly.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
