Donald Barnes Obituary

Donald Haywood Barnes, 75, of Hampstead, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. He was born November 11, 1943 in Wake County the son of the late Cooper Haywood Barnes and Katie Cleo Adcock Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Tommy Boykin; niece, Teresa Barnes.

He is survived by his wife, Lynne Boykin Barnes of the home; brother, Jack Barnes and wife, Cathy of Hampstead; sister, Gayle Currin and husband, Hillman of Oxford; brother-in-law, Douglas Boykin of Wilmington; sister-in-law, Linda Boykin of Fuquay Varina; nieces and nephews, Mike and Annette Barnes, Chris and Angela Barnes, Frank and Kim Currin, Randy and Marie Currin, Larry and LeeAnn Cook, Danny and Susan Boykin, Chad Boykin; several great nieces and nephews.
