Doris Pierce Obituary

Doris Pierce 78, of Whiteville passed on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home. She was born September 1, 1943 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Thomas H. Pierce and Eva Mae Sellers Pierce. A sister, Vivian Canady preceded her in death.

She is survived by a brother, Thomas C. Pierce of the home; a sister Barbara Dial (Ander) of Pembroke; nieces, Regina Bullard , Teresa Pierce and Clarissa Handlos; nephews, Greg Dial, Timothy Dial, Alan Dial, Thomas Pierce, Jr. and Guy Canady, Jr.; brother in law, Guy Canady of Nakina.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday May 25, 2022 at Peacock funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm Wednesday prior to her service at Peacock Funeral Home.
