Doris Wray-Anderson

Mrs. Doris Louise Wray-Anderson, 90, of Cerro Gordo, passed Monday, November 30, 2020 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.  She was born February 27, 1930 daughter of the late Milton Carr Wray and Hannah Thompson Wray.

Doris worked with the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) until her retirement.  She was a member of Western Prong Baptist Church and Fair Bluff Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Anderson; parents; brother, Milton Thurston Wray; niece, Tammy Dee Wray.

She is survived by her niece, Rebecca Wray of Lake Waccamaw; nephew, Ricky Wray and wife, Vicky of Whiteville; two great nieces; two great-great nieces.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, December 5, 2020 at The home of Doris Wray-Anderson, 13028 Swamp Fox Hwy, Cerro Gordo, NC.  Burial will be in the Spring Branch Church Cemetery.
