Douglas Sellers of Whiteville passed away October 13, 2024. He was born on July 2, 1933 to the late Van Sellers and Mary Brookie Elliott Sellers.
He is survived by daughters Joyce Chloetta Bordeax of Whiteville, Cynthia Tyner (Timothy) of Surfside Beach, Christa Clewis of Whiteville, and Cheryl Lewis (Ronnie) of Whiteville; Grandchildren, Tracey Thomas (Brian), Andy Tyner (Tasha), Trista Simone (Joey), Monk Sullivan (Kaitlyn), Amanda Spivey (Shannon), Shawn Lewis (Lindsey), and Amelia Hamilton (Bobby); Great Grandchildren, Cruz Thomas, Hudson Thomas, Kyler Thomas, Olivia Tyner, Luca Simone, Tara Simone, Jaxson Simone, Colten Simone, Abby Simone, Walker Sullivan, Knoxx Sullivan, Hunter Spivey, Kaya Hamilton, Nash Hamilton, Bria Lewis, Dax Lewis, and 22 Granddogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Joyce Sellers.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday October 15, 2024 at 2:00pm in Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Butler officiating. Entombment will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park Mausoleum.
