Eddy Steward Morgan

Mr. Eddy Steward Morgan of Hallsboro, passed Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He was born in Stanley County, the son of the late Buddy Morgan and Lavonne Morgan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a Chief Emergency Rescue Responder with International Paper.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Hickman Morgan; three daughters, Christy Silver of Whiteville, Kimberly Robinson and husband, Quincey of Lake Waccamaw and Melissa Hardee and husband, Eddie of Whiteville; two Brothers, Clenton Morgan of Albemarle and Ricky Morgan and wife, Kay of Albemarle; eight grandchildren, Abigail Silver, Rebecca Silver, Chris Silver, Emily Silver, Ryan Robinson, Madison Hardee, Logan Hardee and Shawn Hardee; and Mother-in-law, Ruth Hickman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cathy Morgan.

Graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Lynn Bullock on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.
