Edward Vance Brown 83, of Bolton died Monday, February 10, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was born July 13, 1936 in Bladen County, son of the late Richard Vance Brown and Charlotte Inez Johnson Brown.
He was preceded in death by wife of 27 years, Avera Creech Brown; granddaughter, Gwendalyn Brown; his parents; brother, Preston Brown; sister, Vivian Nunnery.
He is survived by his son, Edward Alexander Brown of Whiteville; grandchildren, Alexander Dale Brown, Richard Vance Brown, II, Charlotte Abigail Brown and Adam Christopher Brown.
His graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the Peterson Cemetery with Rev. Fred Senter officiating.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 12:00-1:30 pm at Peacock Funeral Home.
