Edward Gedraytis was born on September 13th, 1946, and passed away suddenly at home on May 26,2025. Ed grew up in Bristol, Tennessee and was a proud Eagle Scout (always prepared) and Vietnam Veteran. He worked for 30 years and 4 months with the North Carolina Department of Prisons as a corrections officer.

Ed is survived by his wife, Teresa, stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Mebane Powell and Tom Landrigan and Melinda and John Williams, as well as granddaughters Laura and Elizabeth Landrigan.

Ed was a good man and will be remembered for his love of animals, dry wit and love of a good bargain.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at Hilcrest Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw N.C.
