Elizabeth Parker (Simmons) Harrison

Elizabeth Parker Harrison 77, of Bolton passed on Friday, August 25, 2023 in Premier Living, Lake Waccamaw.  She was born March 27, 1946 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Dempsey Simmons and Virginia Hooks Simmons. 

She was a member of Bolton Baptist Church.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her classmates known as the.  Steel Magnolias.  She loved her granddaughters immensely.  Elizabeth retired from International Paper accounting department. She is survived by a son, Harry Lee Parker, Jr. (Donna) of Lake Waccamaw; a daughter, Katrina Parker Bordeaux (Terry) of Waynesville, NC; a sister, Ruby Simmons Robinson of Bolton; grandchildren, Darian FormyDuval Thompson (Shawn) and Haley Lauren Parker; great grandchildren, Stella Rose Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry Lee Parker, Sr. and Jimmy Harrison, parents, an infant daughter, Katherine Susan Parker, a brother, Floyd Simmons.

Casual dress is requested at her funeral service at 11:00 am Monday, August 28, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sterling Sarvis officiating. Burial will be in Lake Waccamaw Hillcrest Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 10:00 - 11:00 am Monday prior to her service in the chapel.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Simmons, Sonny Hart, Richard Robinson, Andrew Robinson, Yogi Simmons, Joe Hayes.
