Elmer Ray Skipper Obituary
Elmer (Jay) Ray Skipper of Whiteville passed on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1945 in Columbus County, the son of the late Lloyd Glenn Skipper and Daisy Ward Skipper.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Garland "Bill" Skipper and Douglas M. Skipper of Whiteville N.C. Sister, Marie Boyce; Grandson, Jacob Causey; Great-Grandson Mason Causey.
He is survived by a daughter Pamala R. Skipper of Whiteville N.C. Grandsons, Matthew Causey (Brooke), and Kaleb Green. Great-Grandchildren, Braelynn Causey, Ryleigh Causey.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Peacocks Chapel with Dr. Rev. Slade Skipper officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will be in Columbus Memorial Park.
