Elsie Canady Obituary
Mrs. Elsie Jean Canady 86, of Whiteville passed on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Tampa, FL. She was born May 14, 1934 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Eugene Baldwin and Addie Sikes Baldwin.
She was an active member of White Marsh Baptist Church. She graduated from Hallsboro High School in 1952.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carlton Baldwin.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra Canady Byrd and husband, Shane of Tampa, FL; a son, Allan Canady and wife, Claire of Willow Spring, NC; grandchildren, Traci Byrd Carter, Courtney Lee, Melissa Dowds, Cole Canady; great grandchildren, Ashley Distler, Jacob Lee, Avery Distler and Kirsten Lee.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at White Marsh Baptist Church by Rev. Ray Yow and Rev. Carroll Fonvielle. Burial will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.
