Frank Clark Freeman Obituary

Mr. Frank Clark Freeman, Sr. 89, of the Buckhead community Bolton passed on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.  He was born January 8, 1935 in Columbus county, the son of the late Edgar Lonnie Freeman and Gracie Judy Moore Freeman. 


He is survived by two daughters, Brenda Freeman of Whiteville and Patricia Diane Martin (Anthony) of Hallsboro; two brothers, Edgar Lonnie Freeman, Jr. (Darlene) of Buckhead, James B. Freeman of Buckhead, a sister, Linda S. Massey of Leland; grandchildren, Jordan Freeman, Hope Freeman, Thomas Martin, Matthew Freeman, Jr.; great grandchildren, Nylah Freeman, Noah Freeman, Amier Bromell and Kyrie Bromell; sisters-in-law, Chestine Chavis, Icelene Jones (Gregory), Carolyn Ransom (Larry), and Peggy Jones; brothers-in-law, Bobby Jones, Harry Jones (Leslie), Johnny Oxendine and David R. Jones.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Gearlene Hunt Freeman, two sons, Frank Clark Freeman, Jr. and Matthew Freeman, Sr.; his parents;  a sister, Ressie Freeman;  brothers-in-law, Lester Freeman, Keith Massey, James E. Chavis, Leon Jones, Tony Jones; a sister-in-law, Linda Oxendine.


His funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Tuesday,  January 16, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.


His family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm  Monday January 15, 2024 at Peacock Funeral Home.
