Gerline Jackson

Gerline Jackson was born to Mack Neil Jackson and Catherine Grissette Jackson on April 13, 1954. In the midday of December 21, 2024 God called and Gerline peacefully entered into eternal rest. She is preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings. 

Gerline attended Columbus County Schools. She worked at Whiteville Apparel for 15 years then she worked at Premier Living where she retired.

She loved her family and laughter. She would always have something funny to say to make people laugh.

In addition to her significant other Arthur Boone, Gerline leaves to cherish her meories: two sons; Arthur Dale Jackson (Shatisha), Wynn Dale Jackson (Shannon); 3 daughters, Kristie Graham, Sandra Jackson and Patricia Jackson; 17 grandchildren, Artasia Jackson, Arthur Dale Jackson Jr., Ashantea Jackson, Andra Jackson Dale Freeman, Dale Johnson, Ardreka Williams, Jyziah Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Marquise Graham, Christian Graham, Tristan Graham, Layla Graham, Landon Jackson, Jasmine Jackson, Tia Mckoy and Braxton Jackson; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Derline Hemmingway of Cear Branch, South Carolina, her best friend, Shirley Freeman whom she referred to as her oldest daughter and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gerlines service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2024 at 12:00 pm at The New Townsend Temple Ministries located at 273 Smith Lane Bolton NC, with Pastor Ruthlene Freeman officiating.
