Glendora (Benton) Green Obituary

Mrs. Glendora Benton Green 78, of Calabash formerly of Columbus County passed  on Sunday May 28, 2023 in Lower Cape  Fear Lifecare Center in Bolivia.  She was born January 17, 1945 in Columbus County the daughter of the late  Earnest Benton and Lizzie Smith Benton.


She was a craft artist enjoying her hobby of designing and creating pottery.  She also enjoyed gardening and yard work.


She is survived by her husband, Lester Green; step daughters, Teresa Hunt of Cerro Gordo and Lisa Green of Loris, SC; a niece, Rhonda King and husband, Bret of Marion, SC; great nephews, Brent and Ryan King.


She was preceded in death by daughter, Renee Tanner Rickette; her sisters, Lou Ella Fowler and Vera May Long,


and her parents.


Mrs. Green's service will be at 3:00 pm Friday, June 2, 2023 graveside at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park. The Reverend Nate Lynch will be officiating.
