Gracie Faye Storms Obituary
Gracie Faye Storms 80, of Bladenboro passed on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at her home. She was born March 25, 1943 in Bladen County, the daughter of the late James "Gordon" Storms and Lillie Edwards Storms.
She was employed with Dorothea Dix Hospital where she served as a time keeper, ward clerk and medical technician for 38 years until her retirement. She was an outstanding basket ball player in high school and with teams at the hospital.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Alma Hilburn of Butters and Ruth Storms of Whiteville; nieces and nephews, Rodney Storms, Jr., Michael "Skeeter" Storms, Mark Storms, Cathy Yocco, Anita Dolan, Debbie Nix and Randy Storms.
Her funeral service will be at 4:00 pm Thursday, June 1, 2023 graveside at Bladen Memorial Gardens.
