Gregory Gerald Gore, husband of Deborah Gore, father, grandfather, brother, uncle went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the age of 76 surrounded by his family at home. He was born January 20, 1948 in Columbus County, the son of the late Jeff Gore and Josie P Gore.

He served in United States Air Force for thirty five years and retired as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed restoring old cars, reading, watching westerns, helping others and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Deborah Gore of Summerville,SC, a daughter Melissa Gore of Summerville, SC, a son Steven Gore (Cassy) of Hope Mills, NC, granddaughter Rachael Droze of Summerville, SC, sister Katrina Gilliam (Larry) of Whiteville, NC and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister.

His funeral service will be held at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday October 29, 2024 at 2pm with Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Gore Cemetery, 5030 MM Ray Road, Clarendon, NC. His family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service.
