Harry Lee Gore, 90, of Tabor City passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was born in Columbus County, the son of the late Walter K. and Nola Mae Ward Gore.

He was a loving husband, daddy and Papa to all of his family.  He loved to fish and spend time with all of his grandchildren.  He was lifelong member of Iron Hill Baptist Church in Tabor City, NC .  He loved his church family dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Strickland Gore; son, Harry Nickey Gore and wife, Wendy of Tabor City; daughter, Ginger G. Gore of Tabor City; grandchildren, Giles Cameron Byrd, Brenton Blake Byrd, Savannah Gore Nye and husband, Chase, and Chase Gore; great grandchildren, Giles Hayden Byrd, Braxton Woods Byrd,  and Saylor Renee Nye.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ester Gagnon and three brothers, Vincent Gore, Worth Gore and Carl Gore.

A Celebration of Life service will be held , 2:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2023  at Iron Hill Baptist Church, 22247 Peacock Rd.,Tabor City, NC 28463.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Celebration of Life service on Sunday.
