Hazel Lee (Long) Nance Obituary
Hazel Long Nance, 82, of Whiteville, NC, passed away at Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center in Whiteville, on April 4, 2023.
She was born September 11, 1940, in Robeson County, the daughter of the late Henry Long and late Estelle Barefoot Long. She was preceded in death in 2014 by her husband of 54 years the late Dan Nance.
She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda McPherson and husband, James of Whiteville and Tracie Nance and fiance, Jay Stone of Whiteville; a sister, Janice Davis and husband, Wilson of Nakina; grandchildren, Brittney Garrell and husband, David, Christian McKeithan and girlfriend, Daisy; great grandchildren, Raleigh and Olivia Garrell.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, April 7, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in the Cribb - Long Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Beck, Greg Fowler, Chad Hilburn, D.J. Hilburn, Dawayne Hilburn, Doug Hilburn,
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the funeral home.
