Mrs. Helen Louise Freeman (Louise to all who knew her) 76 of the Buckhead Community in Bolton, NC passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1944, in Onslow County, the daughter of the late Stedman and Margaret Rochelle.

Mrs. Freeman was a dental hygienist in her professional life, but her true calling was a caretaker of all. Anyone was always welcome at her table, and she took strides to ensure no one went hungry or without.

She is survived by her husband Norson Freeman and her granddaughter Melissa Freeman of the home; her son David Mark Freeman and wife Patta of Huntsville, Alabama, daughter Lisa Freeman, nephews David Watson and Donny Millis, nieces Katherine Batts and Kathleen Justice, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters Frances Watson and Edie Millis, and her daughter Juanita Dawn Freeman.

The family will be holding a memorial service in New Hope Baptist Church, 7857 Old Lake Road, Bolton NC 28423 Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 2:30 pm.
