Hilda Hardee Ward

Hilda Hardee Ward 68, of Nakina died Friday, February 22, 2019 at Columbus Regional Healthcare Center, Whiteville, NC.  She was born February 11, 1951 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rilda Ward Hardee.  

She is survived by her husband, Howard Ward; two sons, Rodney Ward and wife, Gina of Nakina, Steven Ward and fiancé, Katina Staton of Ocean Isle; grandson, Lawson Ward; brother, Kenneth Ray Hardee and wife, Cheryl of Branchville; sister, Janice Horne and husband, David of Apex; nephews, Austin Horne and Kenneth Ray Hardee, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Nakina Baptist Church by Rev. Darryll Hester.  Burial will be in the Columbus Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, February 25, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home.
