With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hunter Austin Shuman, who was taken way to soon in a motorcycle accident August 16, 2024 at the age of 21. Growing up he loved to go hunting and fishing with his father and brothers. Hunter loved life and was always looking for a new adventure.
Hunter Austin Shuman, 21 of Nakina was born April 1, 2003 in Fayetteville NC. He is survived by his parents Harry and Michelle Shuman, two brothers, Harry Jr. (Tony) and Hank Shuman, grandparents, Reggie and Debbie Neal, great grandfather, Jerry Neal, uncles and aunts, Robert Neal (Roxanne) and Kenneth Shuman (Kelli) and numerous great-aunts, great- uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who loved Hunter very much.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Needra Bullard, Frances Shuman and Kenneth Shuman Sr. and his great-grandparents.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 7:00pm at Peacock Funeral Home's Chapel with the Rev. Eric Washburn officiating.
His family will receive friends from August 22, 2024 from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Peacock Funeral Home.
