James Evans Obituary
Mr. James Marvin Evans 76, of Nakina passed on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Center, Whiteville. He was born February 9, 1944 in Columbus County, the son of the late James Curby Evans and Bertha Reba Simmons Evans. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ward Evans in 1986 and a sister Hilda Pierce.
Mr. Evans retired from International Paper.
He is survived by his son, James Corey Evans of Nakina; his daughter, Myra Renee Evans of Garner; a grandson, Dustin Ryan Evans.
His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 14, 2021 a Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Columbus Memorial Park Mausoleum.
