James "Jim" Tyson Obituary

Mr. James Tyson, 62, of Tabor City passed Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born on February 12, 1958 in Columbus County , the son of Ervin and Sue Babson Tyson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Gayle Tyson.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Bartlett Tyson; stepson, Tyler Hinnant of Oak Island; stepdaughters, Chelsea Andrews and husband, Steven of Wilmington and Kelly Hinnant of Hallsboro; brothers, Rusty Tyson of Whiteville, Dennis Tyson of Whiteville, Jon Tyson and wife, Rebecca of Whiteville.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Peacock's Chapel in the Pines by Rev. Scott Gore.
