Jean lived in Raleigh, NC for many years where she raised her children and worked in retail with Ivey’s Department Store at North Hills Mall. She loved Lake Waccamaw and later moved back and studied cosmetology at Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, NC. She was a hairdresser for many years and loved making her clients and friends look and feel great. She was very creative and could take one piece of jewelry and style a complete outfit around it. She enjoyed decorating and cooking, and made the best chocolate pies and cakes. She also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed having fun with family and friends. Jean loved spending time and visiting with her children, but most of all being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
