Jeff Simmons Obituary
Jeff Simmons 60, of the Old Dock community, Whiteville passed on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his home. He was born July 26, 1963 in Columbus County, the son of the late Harold Dean Simmons and Lois Ann Ward Simmons.
He owned and operated Jeff's Body Shop for over 30 years.
He is survived by his fiance, Charley Blackmon; a son, Jeffery Simmons, (Samantha) of Ash, a daughter, Gena Canady (Kevin) of Whiteville; sisters, Crystal Simmons Caswell of Whiteville, O'Shela Simmons Parks (Kenneth Dale) of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren, Mabre Simmons, Walker Simmons, Wesley Lee and Conrad Canady.
His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, September 25, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
His family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home.
