Jerry D. Elliott Obituary

Mr. Jerry D. Elliott 88, of Tabor City passed on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at his home.  He was born in Nichols, SC the son of the late Dozier Elliott and Lucille Atkinson Elliott.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Canady Elliott, a son, Frankie Elliott and  his parents.


Mr. Elliott was a retired farmer who loved the land.  He was a "Jack of all trades" and a giving person to everyone.


He is survived by a son, Jimmy Elliott  and a daughter, Joetta Elliott both of Tabor City; a granddaughter, Ashely Milliken and a great grandson, Aiden Milliken.


A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, graveside at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park with Rev. Marcus Fowler officiating.


His family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 at Peacock Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
