Jimmy Sikes

Jimmy Alan Sikes 73, of Wilmington, NC passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at his home. He was born May 20, 1950 in Carmi IL, the son of the late John H. Sikes and Winifred Bullard Sikes Johnson.

He is survived by his son, James Rudolph Sikes (Rachel) of West Columbia, SC; a sister, Patricia Ogg (Russ) of Kettle Falls, WA.

He formerly  owned and operated a fence company in Jacksonville, FL prior to moving to North Carolina. He was a general contractor in NC and was head of maintenance at the Blockade Runner in Wrightsville Beach, NC.

His funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dallas Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Flynn Cemetery. His family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service.
