Joel (Joey) Terence Edwards, 57, of Whiteville, passed away on Tuesday, April16, 2024. He was born in Columbus County to Jeanette Callihan Lee and the late Thomas (Tommy) Houston Edwards. He loved to play the guitar and to go fishing.
He was preceded in death by his Father; Grandparents, JF (Granddaddy) and Myrtle (Modo) Callihan; and his brother Phillip (Phil) Edwards.
He is survived by his children, Alisha Lewis ( Danny), Miranda Leigh Edwards ( Brandon), Hannah Marie Liguori-Reid (Nick) and Chase Edwards; his mother; sister, Connie Mclean; grandchildren, Braxton, Skylar, Benjamin, Sofia, Brantley; girlfriend, Kim Turner and her daughter Makayla Mote and many others.
