Mr. John Louis Moskal, 68 of Whiteville, formerly of Southampton, NJ died on Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born February 26, 1950 in Bridesburg, PA, the son of the late John Moskal and Margaret La Retta Francs Balaszow.
John retired from the Township of Southampton Grounds Department after 25 years. He served on the Hampton Lakes and Vincent Company Fire Departments for 10 years. He loved farming, gardening, and tinkering on farm equipment. When he was not planting or harvesting his vegetables he enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing, camping, and beach music concerts.
He is survived by his wife, Denise K. Whitehouse; a daughter, Amanda Beaver and husband, Kevin of Bonaire, GA; grandchildren, Bradlee Beaver and Annabelle Beaver; brothers, George Moskal and Judith of Southampton, NJ, Robert Balaszow and Jacquiline of Southampton, NJ, Gary Moskal and Linda of Denver, PA; sisters, Mary Ann Fasanella and husband, Joseph of Columbus, NJ, Donna Danser and Brian of Southampton, NJ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brad Moskal.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00 am Friday, July 27, 2018 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Nathaniel Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in New Jersey.
