John Ray Jacobs 75, of Tabor City passed on Monday March 16, 2026 at his home. He was born on August 10, 1950 in Sampson County. The son of the late Lunita Jacobs and Allison Cleo Jacobs.

He is survived by sons, Curtis Ray Jacobs of Tabor City, N.C., John Tano Marallo of Wilmington N.C., Wayne Allen Ray Jacobs and wife, Missy Jacobs of Tabor City, N.C., Johnny Dakotta Jacobs and wife, Rebecca Jacobs of Whiteville, N.C., Bryson Ray Jacobs of West Virginia; daughters, Lori Lee Jacobs and husband, Raymond Fowler of Tabor City, N.C., Vanessa Jordan and husband Eric Jordan of Whiteville, N.C.; brothers, Carnell Jacobs and wife, Kim Jacobs of Buckhead, N.C., James Stafford Jacobs of Buckhead, N.C., Andrew Wayne Jacobs and wife, Linda Jacobs of Leland, N.C., Dennis Jacobs and wife, Lisa Jacobs of Hallsboro; sisters, Lonita Barsh and husband, Thomas Barsh of Buckhead, NC; Lagretta Newton and husband, Jeffrey  Newton of Warsaw; grandchildren, Brianna Jacobs, Levi Sequoyah Marallo, Azariiah Marallo, Samuel Chayton Hanner, Allen Jacobs, Dusty Jacobs, Savannah Sky Soles, James Soles. Ameya Soles, Caiden Soles, Daisy Jordan, Caleb Jordan, Salena Sellers, Manley Jacobs, Donna Jacobs; great grandchildren, Tillon Jacobs, Kase Jacobs, Stormy Jacobs, Haven Jacobs, Sadie Jacobs, Ky'air Kashton Gore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Rudolph Jacobs, Edward Jacobs, sister, Melrose Jacobs , Bexli Jacobs a great-grandaughter.

His funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church with Elder Michael Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery.

His family  will receive friends Sunday at 2:00 prior to his service at the church.
