Johnathan Queen Obituary

Mr. Johnathan Marshall Queen, 37, of Oak Island, went to be with his Heavenly Father Wednesday, June 10, 2020.  He was born February 5, 1983, the son of John Marshall Zimmerman, Jr., Rebecca Queen Kidd, Robert and Sandra Carter.

He was a graduate of Waccamaw Academy and Southeastern Community College.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Zimmerman, Sr. and Barbara E. Zimmerman.

He is survived by his children, Alec Dudney Queen and Heather Marie Queen of Whiteville; father, John Marshall Zimmerman, Jr. and wife, Monica of Chesapeake, VA; mother, Rebecca Queen Kidd and husband, Lee Culpepper of Whiteville; sister, Miriah L. Kidd of Whiteville; brother, Dustin Shane Kidd and wife, Jan of Virginia; maternal grandparents, Robert and Sandra Carter of Oak Island, Jack and Joan Queen of Virginia; aunts and uncles, Laura and Jimmy Reece of Virginia, Melinda and Guy Rouse of North Carolina, Victoria and Lee Schumacher of South Carolina, Elizabeth Whitley of Florida, Bobby Boose of Virginia; cousins, Dr. Eden Rouse, Clay Schumacher, Nick Whitley, Silas Woodson and Nathan Whitley.

His memorial service will be 4:00 pm Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Peacock Funeral Home Chapel.
