Joyce Powell Obituary

Mrs. Joyce Dew Powell 83, of Atlanta, GA passed on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Atlanta. She was born July 23, 1938 the daughter of the late Tommy and Luetta Dew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Powell, her parents, brothers, Eddie Dew and Jimmy Dew; a sister, Mary Esther.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff Powell and wife, Karen of Lompoc, CA, Tim Powell of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Bobby Dew and wife, Brenda of Whiteville; a sister, Shirlee Moore of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Jessica Powell, Nikolaus Powell, Tiffany Greene, Katelynn Powell, Madison Powell, Angelina Powell and Elizabeth Powell; great grandchildren, Aidan McClure, Avery McClure and Abel McClure.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 9, 2021 graveside at Pierce Cemetery with Rev. Gary Ledbetter officiating.
