Julian Juan Fipps 31, of Nakina passed away on January 9, 2023. He was born June 19, 1991 in Columbus County the son of Juan Fipps and Crystal Ward Fipps.
Julian was employed in industrial construction with Fippco, Inc.
He is survived by his parents; a son, Sebastian Juan Fipps of Essex, IL; a sister, Alex Anne Marple and husband, Chase of Little River, SC; maternal grandmother, Deana Ward of Nakina; maternal grandparents, Peggy and James Simmons of Nakina and the late L.C. Ward; paternal grandparents, Anthony & Carolyn Fipps of Whiteville; two nephews, Jesse James Fipps and Landon Cash Marple; a niece, Josie Anne Marple; a special friend, Courtney Hamilton.
His funeral will be at 2:00 pm Monday, January 16, 2023 at Sweet Home Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Faulk officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to his service at the church. Burial will be in the Coleman-Ward Cemetery in Nakina.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made towards planting shrubbery and plants at the Coleman-Ward Cemetery. Checks can be made payable to Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, 311 Walter Todd Rd, Clarendon, NC 28432, and earmarked "Julian Fipps."
