Junior McKeel

Mr. Dallas "Junior" Clifton McKeel, Jr., 72, of Whiteville, passed Friday, June 26, 2020.  He was born September 3, 1947, in Columbus County, the son of the late Dallas C. McKeel, Sr. and Jean Smith McKeel.

Junior was the owner and operator of Ward's Grill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vickie McKeel Etheridge and companion of  more than 40 years, Velna Huffstetler.

He is survived by his daughter, Kandle McKeel Rogers and husband, Tommy of Whiteville; sister, Suzanne McKeel King and husband, Billy of Whiteville; grandchildren, Shay McKeel Rogers and Bella Gray Rogers.

His graveside service with Military Honors will be held 4:00 pm Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Western Prong Baptist Church Cemetery.
