Lois Pierce Williamson Obituary

Mrs. Lois Pierce Williamson, 83, of Hallsboro passed January 25, 2021. She was born in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Agnes Galloway Pierce. She graduated James Walker Nursing School in Wilmington as a registered nurse in 1959. She was formerly employed with Dr. Wyche and Dr. Cottle.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Williamson; three sons, Ronald Ray Williamson and wife, Sharon of Lake Waccamaw, Robert Louis Williamson and wife, Patricia of Hallsboro and Charles Glen Williamson and wife, Melissa of Wilkesboro; a daughter, Teresa Williamson Morgan and husband, Kenneth of New Hill; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Casey, Nathan, Robert, Heather, Paxton, Kinsley, Cullen, Calvin and Eli; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Luke, Dylan, Peyton, Emily, Brayden, Amelia, Seth, Samuel and Baby Mead.

Her greatest joy was her love for her husband and family.

Memorials may be made to Hallsboro Baptist Church, 551 Hallsboro Rd. S. Hallsboro, NC 28442.

The family will have a private graveside service.
