Lottie Jacobs Obituary

Mrs. Lottie Ruth Jacobs, 77, of the Buckhead Community, passed on Monday, June 3, 2024, at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick in Bolivia, NC. She was born May 30, 1947, daughter of the late Willie G. Patrick and Aggie May Patrick. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sebrina Ann Moore.

She was a devoted member of Mt. Sinai Holiness Church where she has served as a youth leader, Ladies Auxiliary member, and Sunday School teacher for many years. Her love for serving God was evident in everything she did and she shared that love with all who would listen. She was a mother figure to many and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Lottie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Oscar Jacobs; three daughters, Sherry Jacobs and husband Archie Ray Jacobs of Buckhead, NC, Shelley Covington of Texas, and Shevonda Mitchell and husband Terry Mitchell of Lake Waccamaw, NC; ten grandchildren, Denna Dewayne Jacobs and wife Jessica Jacobs, Shonda Carrol and husband Chase Carol, Jennifer Dorman, Matthew Jacobs, Brittany Dorman and fiancé Brandon Moore, Shiana Humphrey and husband Greg Humphrey, Emily Thomas, Landon Moore and wife Rachel Moore, Serena Mitchell, and Miles Moore; seven great-grandchildren, Liberty Carol, Rylie Graham, Caden Carol, Chason French, Brezlynn Jacobs, Jase Timber Dorman, and Meeko Humphrey.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church in Buckhead NC, with Elder Michael Jacobs officiating. The burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at the church.
