LouFloy "Lucy" Harrelson 90, of Whiteville passed on Friday, November 8, 2024 at her home.  She was born in Columbus County the daughter of the late Lacy Palmer Suggs, Sr. and Mazie Lee Suggs.

Lucy was formerly employed with Sport Tee in Clarkton, Anvil Knitwear in Whiteville, Waljack in Tabor City and 410 in Chadbourn.

She is survived by a son, William Devon Harrelson and wife, Anita of Whiteville; a granddaughter, Jenna Louise Harrelson;  brothers,  L. P. Suggs, Jr. of Chadbourn and Robert Suggs and wife, Billie Jean of Tabor City; a sister Maggie S. Lundy of Chadbourn.

She was preceded in death her parents and siblings, Otis Suggs, Lillian S. Buerger, Carolyn S. Smith, Verniece S. Shaw, Elouise S. Payne, Hilda S. Shaw and Thomas Suggs.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday November 13, 2024 at Old Zion Wesleyan Church with Rev. Buddy Seay and Rev. Ricky Bourne officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  

Her family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Peacock Funeral Home.
