Magdline (Baldwin) Jacobs

Magdline Baldwin Jacobs 79, of Council went to be with her Lord and Saviour Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.  She was born February 6, 1940 in Bladen County the daughter of the late Bartha and Mamie Freeman Baldwin. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Eddie Jacobs, Sr.; parents; sisters, Helen Jacobs, Ammretha Jacobs; brothers, Jody Baldwin, James M. Baldwin.

She is survived by her sons, Martin Eddie Jacobs, Jr. and wife, Joy, Rev. Michael Dewayne Jacobs, Gerald Matthew Jacobs and wife, Crystal all of Council; daughter, Yvonne Richardson and husband, BJ of Council; brothers, John C. Baldwin, Winfred Baldwin and wife, Louise, Wayne D. Baldwin all of Bolton; sisters, Verssie Baldwin, Connie R. Jacobs, Tessie Jacobs, Lois Smith all of Bolton, Frances Gillis and husband, Phil of Council; grandchildren, Aaron D. Jacobs, Matthew D. Jacobs, Joshua G. Jacobs, Carlie J. Jacobs, Kenlie L. Jacobs.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church by Rev. Jerry Groves.  Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery.
