Margaret Sears Stewart

Margaret Sears Stewart 71, of Whiteville passed on August 21, 2023 at the Lower Cape Fear Life care Angel House, Whiteville. She was born September 26, 1951 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Eugene and Leota Sears. 

Margaret was married for almost 40 years to the love of her life, JE Stewart. She loved being a Nana to her grandchildren and loved Little Debbie cakes!

She is survived by two sons, Jes Stewart and wife, Kelly of Shallotte, Jerry Dove and wife, Crystal of Wilmington; two daughters, Rachel Williams and husband, Rusty of Whiteville, Patricia Stewart and husband, Michael of Whiteville; A brother, Patrick Sears (Jeff) of Ft. Lauderdale; grandchildren, Dylan Williams (Tyler), Chloe Williams, Kaylee Williams, Jay Stewart, Holland Stewart, Harper Sellers, Olivia Dove, and Harrison Dove.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and parents, a sister, Genie Oliver.

Her memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday August 26, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM at Peacock Funeral Home prior to her service
