Mary Faulk Obituary
Mrs. Mary Alice Faulk 89, of Nakina passed away on October 24, 2021 in Shoreland Healthcare. She was born December 30, 1931 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Goldie Ward and Bertha Mae Suggs Ward.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Woodrow Long and Grover Faulk, her parents, her twin sisters, Margaret Fay and Myrtle Edna Ward, and her beloved son, Kim Long, son-in-law, William Benton.
Mary Alice retired from Loris Community Hospital, where she loved her job and counted it a privilege to work with her co-workers. She was a life member of Dulah Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Monda Faye McLamb and husband, Buster of Nakina, Barbara Benton of Pireway, Linda Faulk and husband, Gordon Barrineau of Charleston, SC, Billie Dorsch of Nakina; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kenneth Smith. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service. Burial will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.
