Mary Lois Thompson, 74, of Whiteville passed away on January 8, 2024. She was born September 30, 1949, the daughter of the late Lucian Billy Ward and the late Hazel Smith Ward. She retired from Belk, having worked over twenty years with the company.
She is survived by a son, Jason Faulk (Mary Beth) of Whiteville; a daughter, Deanna Thompson of Durham; a sister, Jackie McKeithan of Nakina; two grandchildren, Morgan Faulk and Marley Faulk; and a cousin, Stella Louise Smith of Ash.
Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Palmyra Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dave Heller officiating.
