Mary Glen Peacock Obituary

Mary Glen Culpepper Peacock, age 88, of Piedmont, SC went to her heavenly home on September 28, 2024. She was born on December 22, 1935, daughter of the late Edward Sutton Culpepper and Shula Stevens Culpepper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny T. Peacock.


Mary Glen was a graduate of Whiteville High School in 1954 and worked for many years in the insurance business before her retirement.


Mary Glen was a loving and devoted mother to Lynn Nipper (Chris) of Raleigh, Kimberly Sikes (Barry) of Piedmont, SC and Teresa Hewitt (Billy) of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren Al Atkins, Aaron Atkins, Kelsey Atkins, Ashly Graham (Corey), Meagan Sikes, Brent Sloan and Hope Sloan; great-grandchildren Alston Atkins and Luke Atkins; sisters Jerry Smith of Garner and Jean Millican (Wayne) of High Point and several nieces and nephews.


Her funeral service will be held at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 at 11:00am with the Rev. Joseph Washburn officiating.
