Mary Lankston, 81, of Bolton NC, passed away August 7, 2024 peacefully in her home. She was born in Columbus County to the late Marion Lee Wilkins and Viola Thompson Wilkins.

She is survived by her husband, David Lankston; son, John M. Creech (Pierangela "Nina") of Cincinnati OH; daughter, Renee C. Bonsignore (Michael "Kel") of Wilmington NC; brother, George W. Wilkins (Gail) of Delco; her best friend, Juanita Mills; grandchildren, Emma Creech, Silia Creech, Kelsey Bonsignore, Michael John Bonsignore, Maria Bonsignore; great grandchildren, Ganae and Jada Bonsignore.

She was preceded in death by her first Husband, M.H. "Kite" Creech; Brothers, James Upchurch, M.L. Wilkins, Alfis Ray Wilkins; Sisters, Billie Ann Simmons, Betty Sue Pridgen and her twin Martha Powell.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Delco Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Malpass and Minister Addie Bonsignore officiating. Burial will follow in the Cheerful Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at  the church.
