Mr. Michael "Mike" Gore,  63, of Riegelwood passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Columbus Regional Healthcare.  He was born in Columbus County on July 10, 1959.  He was a member of Bridge of Life Community Church in Leland.  He was employed with International Paper for 37 years.

He is survived by his mother, Ella Gore of Delco; a son, Micheal Justin Gore and wife, Nathalie of Riegelwood; daughters, Robin Patrick and husband, Shawn of Currie, NC, Amy Sullivan of Chicago, IL ; grandchildren, Skylar Patrick, Hunter Patrick, Caitlin Gore, Dalton Gore; great grandchildren, Kaylee Casteen and Haven Casteen.

His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, January 23, 2023 at Bridge of Life Community Church, 2220 Mercantile Dr. NE, Leland, NC 28451. Rev. Jerome Bullard will officiate.  Burial will be in the Moore Family Cemetery, 4926 Canetuck Rd., Currie, NC.

His family will receive friends 4:30 - 7:30 pm Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Peacock Funeral Home.
