Mickey Susan Patrick

Ms. Mickey Susan Patrick, 57, of Bolton, passed Monday, November 2, 2020, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  She was born August 13, 1963 daughter of Kermit and Annie Louise Jacobs Patrick.

Mickey was a talented artist who focused on American Indian Art.  Her art was featured throughout North Carolina in Historical Museums and displayed across the country.  She was a Truck Driver with several companies throughout her career, US Express, FedEx, Greyhound and ACE of Leland.  Mickey served as a Correctional Officer with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.   Her love for children stood out when she worked for the Boys and Girls Homes of NC.  She may not have been a mother but, she was a mother to many, she supported all children and showed them unconditional loved.   

She was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Dewayne Patrick; sister, Melissa Ann Patrick; maternal grandparents, Jolly and Easter Rose Jacobs; paternal grandparents, Gather and Aggie Mae Patrick.

She is survived by her parents, Kermit and Louise Jacobs Patrick of Bolton; three brothers, Brandon Patrick and wife, Kyaran of Whiteville, Shelton Patrick and wife, Rita of Bolton, Todd Patrick of Council; nieces, Brisson Patrick, Adriana Patrick, Elizabeth Patrick, Nicole Patrick; nephews, Taylor Patrick, Devin Patrick, Layton Patrick, Gavin Ammons, Caleb Ammons, Gage Ammons and Carlos McClure; several great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church by Pastor Denise Clewis, Pastor Lucy Young and Rev. Mike Jacobs.  Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery.
