Mildred Dudley Obituary

Mildred Marie Dudley 94, of Whiteville passed on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Novant medical center in New Hanover. She was born July 29, 1930 in Columbus county, the daughter of the late E. Devon Duncan and Lula Hinson Duncan. Mildred was a lifelong resident of Columbus County where she and her husband farmed for many years.


She is survived by sisters Edith Honeycutt and brother-in-law Richard; Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Neighbors.


She is preceded in death by her husband George "Son" Dudley;  Sister, Myrtle Hammond; Brother, Larry "Tom" Duncan; and her parents.


Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 2 ,2025 at 2:00 PM at Peacocks Chapel with Rev. Buddy Seay officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
