Mildred Odom Obituary

Mildred B. Odom 79, of Whiteville passed on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Angel House. She was born April 23, 1943 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Franklin Penny and Myrtie Jones Penny.

She is survived by John Henry Butler; sons, Robert Butler of Chadbourn;a daughter, Debbie Sue Butler of Whiteville; a sister, Judy Rockwell of Orrum; grandchildren, Joshua Butler, Jacob Butler, Meagan Cox, Jonathan Butler, Brett Chavis, Cody Chavis, Derrick Butler.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Chavis; a son, Stevie Butler; sisters, Pat Moore, Alma Cumbee & Faye Register; brothers, Charles Penny and Leo Penny.

Her funeral will be at 4:00 pm Tuesday, April 18, 2023 graveside at Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.
