Mr. Noel Delane Moore departed this life on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in UNC Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.  He was born July 20, 1971 in Columbus County, NC to William and the late Brenda Jacobs Moore.

Noel graduated from Hallsboro High School in 1989 and shortly after discovered a love for pipe welding.  As he worked to master his craft, Noel traveled from job site to job site building lifelong bonds of friendship with his fellow craftsman...some who are here today to honor him during his home going. Noel also had a passion for American Indian art work, with one of his creations displayed on the annual Waccamaw Siouan Powwow t-shirt.  His love of creating indigenous artwork helped to spark the creation of StarLake Designs.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, William Moore of the home, his daughters, Rain Locklear and Kaden Moore; his grandchildren, Mila Locklear and Liam Freeman; his twin brother, J. D. Moore (Kim); his niece, Kara Moore of Lumberton, NC and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Noel was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Jacobs Moore whom he attentively cared for during her time of illness; his maternal and paternal grandparents and great grandparents; and his nephew, Jacob Collin Moore.

His service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 2, 2025 at New Hope Baptist church with Elder Mike Jacobs, Rev. Howard Jacobs, Pastor Zach Jacobs, and Rev. Carl Pevia officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
