Ollie Blackwell, Jr.

Mr. Ollie Blackwell, Jr., 58, of Whiteville, entered peacefully into his heavenly home Monday, September 21, 2020 at his residence.  He was born August 28, 1962, in Greenville County, SC.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ollie Blackwell, Sr. and a sister, Charmaine Cartret.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lisa Walker Blackwell; daughter, Leslie Strickland and husband, Jeremy of Cerro Gordo; two grandchildren, Owen Strickland and Maddie Strickland; sister, Patsy Dozier and husband, Cameron of Loris, SC; nephew, Michael Dozier and wife, Sunshine of Loris, SC; niece, Heather Dozier and Justin Rowell of Conway, SC.

His graveside service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Peacock’s Columbus Memorial Park by Mr. Johnnie Jernigan.
